We were absolutely thrilled recently to find out that the Designated Group has been shortlisted for a prestigious Women In Marketing Award!

Launched in 2010, the WIM Awards were established to recognise the economic, social influence and impact of women to millions. The WIM Awards has given recognition to inspirational women in the UK, from some of the biggest brands – Google, Boots UK to Sony. This year will be the first year that the WIM Awards 2017 will be global, with applicants being welcomed from across the globe.

We are really looking forward to attending the awards ceremony where we will celebrate the achievements of everyone involved and raise a glass to the winners.   On the night, we will be rubbing shoulders with some truly inspirational women at the top of their profession, representing some outstanding brands, and we couldn’t be more excited!

The ceremony takes place on 16th November 2017 at the Ham Yard Hotel in the heart of London’s Soho.

Designated Group has been shortlisted for an award which makes its debut this year – the Digital Mums #WorkThatWorks Award, sponsored by M&C Saatchi.  This award will celebrate a business that is truly embracing a more flexible way of working – away from the 9-5, coat-on-the-chair culture. And that’s exactly what we’re doing here at the Designated Group.

We don’t just give a cursory nod to flexible working – flexible working is our ONLY way of working, and flexibility is at the heart of everything we do. We find that flexibility benefits everyone, both our team members and our clients – the true spirit of #workthatworks! It is a real honour that our commitment to providing flexible work opportunities is being formally recognised through being shortlisted for this award.

About Women In Marketing

Women in Marketing

Founded by Ade Onilude, in 2004, Women in Marketing (WIM) is established to empower women to fulfil their potential within the marketing profession. Ade was inspired to launch the WIM network as a forum to educate, inspire, connect, share and recognise women in the marketing profession. The first WIM event was held in March 2004, to coincide with the ‘International Women’s Day’ celebration. Each year, the annual conference tackles a timely relevant theme with speakers drawn from thought leaders in that field/sector; WIM event themes have varied from ‘work-life’ balance, branding, ethical marketing to global marketing.
